Wow! Catholic Schools Week is already here! We have PLENTY of fun and enriching activities planned this week to celebrate the “FAITH, ACADEMICS, & SERVICE” at Good Shepherd. We, along with over 7,800 Catholic schools, unite in recognition and appreciation of the Christ-centered excellence we strive for. Among the activities planned this week, will be a visit from the Beverly Hills Mayor and the K-9 group from the Police Department. We also will be celebrating Mass on Wednesday at 11am in O’Ryan Hall. 5th grade will be leading this Mass. This week serves not only as time of bliss and jubilation, but as an ever-present reminder of thanksgiving for all of God’s blessings.
This week, Religion 7 will continue to focus on how the people of God make up the Church. Religion 6 will culminate our chapter on the Covenant at Sinai. Math 8/7 will focus on reviewing for Exam 9 and have our first test of the Quarter 3 on Thursday. Spanish K-2 will continue to focus on writing the days of the week. Spanish 3-5 will focus on definite and indefinite articles as they pertain to Unit 2 vocabulary. Spanish 6-8 will continue to focus on sentence structure as it pertains to class subjects.
